Steps to Make MTL CBD Vape Juice

Step 1: Add 14ml PG (Propylene Glycol)

Using the blunt tip syringe, measure out 14ml of Propylene Glycol (PG), and add it to the empty 30ml vape juice container.

Step 2: Add 500mg CBD Isolate to the Mixture

Using your scale, measure out 0.5 grams (500mg) of CBD isolate and carefully add the isolate powder to the vape juice container with the PG mixture. Replace the cap.

Step 3: Mix PG and CBD Thoroughly

Now shake the vape juice container vigorously for several minutes to ensure that the CBD isolate fully dissolves into the PG. Once thoroughly mixed, it should be in a liquid form with no crystallisation.

Step 4: Add 14ml VG (Vegetable Glycerin)

Using the blunt tip syringe, measure out 14ml of Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and add it to the 30ml vape juice container containing the thoroughly mixed combination of PG and CBD isolate. Replace the cap and once again vigorously shake the vape juice container to ensure that the VG is thoroughly mixed with the CBD and PG combo.

Step 5: Add 2ml Vape Juice Flavourings

One of the best parts about being able to make your own CBD anxiety pens at home from isolate is that you can choose your flavour of choice! For this step, you will need 2ml of your vape juice flavouring of choice or 1.5ml of terpenes. Once again, using the blunt tip syringe, measure your flavour additive of choice and add it to the mixture within the vape juice container. Shake vigorously to ensure flavour is mixed thoroughly.

Step 6: Fill Your Vape Tank/Cartridge and Enjoy

The only thing left to do now is to fill your vape tank or cartridge with the homemade CBD vape mixture and enjoy!

Steps to Make SUB OHM CBD Vape Juice

For big smooth clouds, this recipe utilises a 70/30 VG/PG mixture.

Step 1: Add 6ml PG (Propylene Glycol)

Using the blunt tip syringe, measure and add 6ml of Propylene Glycol (PG) to the empty 30ml vape juice container.

Step 2: Add 500mg CBD Isolate to the Mixture

Using your scale, measure 0.5 grams (500mg) of CBD isolate and carefully add the powder to the vape juice container with the PG mixture and replace the cap.

Step 3: Mix PG and CBD Thoroughly

Now shake the vape juice container vigorously for several minutes to ensure that the CBD isolate fully dissolves into the PG. Once thoroughly mixed, it should be in a liquid form with no crystallisation. You may need to warm up the mixture more as there is far less PG compared to the MTL recipe.

Step 4: Add 21ml VG (Vegetable Glycerin)

Using the blunt tip syringe, measure out 21ml of Vegetable Glycerin (VG) and add it to the 30ml vape juice container containing the thoroughly mixed combination of PG and CBD isolates. Replace the cap and once again vigorously shake the vape juice container to ensure that the VG is thoroughly mixed with the CBD and PG combo. VG tends to be sticky and likes to stick to the side of containers, so make sure you give it a couple of extra shakes for good measure!

Step 5: Add 3ml Vape Juice Flavourings

For this setup, you will need 3ml of your vape juice flavouring of choice or 1.5ml of terpenes. Once again, using the blunt tip syringe, measure your flavour additive of choice and add it to the mixture within the vape juice container. Shake vigorously to ensure flavour is mixed thoroughly.

Additional Tips for Making CBD Vape at Home

Now that you know how to make vape with CBD isolate let's look at a few tips and tricks that can help make the process that much better!

Storing Your Left Over CBD Vape Juice

It is recommended that when you make CBD vape at home using isolate that you store the vape juice in an amber-coloured container to protect it against UV rays. Amber-coloured vape juice containers are quite common, so it should not be an issue to acquire one if desired.

Terpenes vs. Vape Juice Flavouring

By adding terpenes to CBD isolate, you have changed your CBD vape from an isolate-based CBD vape to a broad-spectrum one which may help to increase the chances of you experiencing what is known as the entourage effect. The entourage effect theory is that cannabinoids such as CBD work better when they synergistically work together with terpenes and other plant-derived compounds.

Whether you utilise terpenes or vape juice flavour additives, it is recommended to let the mixture sit for 24-48 hours before utilising it for optimal flavour!

Preventing Crystallisation and What to Do it if Occurs

To help the CBD isolate dissolve into the PG easier, some people opt for placing their PG/VG near a heat source, be it a heater or in direct sunlight, for a few minutes prior to making their CBD vape at home. If you do not opt to preheat your PG/VG or if you do and crystallisation still occurs, placing your vape juice container near a heating source and periodically shaking it can help to de-crystalise the mixture.
