What are CBD vapes?

Most people know that vaping is one of the good ways to quit smoking. Thus, studies in the UK show that vaping is far safer than smoking. Even the NHS recommends considering vaping instead of smoking.[1] However, there are different kinds of vapes. Nicotine vapes have been around for quite a long time, and CBD vapes are relatively new. Thus, it is good to ask what is CBD in a vape?

Understanding CBD Vapes

If you want to know what is a CBD vape, well, the reply is simple; it is a vape device that contains CBD as a primary active ingredient. As a rule, it does not contain nicotine.

Vapes are electronic devices that differ considerably from smoking. Although they might seem to produce smoke, however, this is not true. Vapes produce vapour clouds. Vape pens heat vape liquids at moderately high temperatures to avoid burning. These vape clouds form mainly due to their content of propylene glycol (PG) and vegetable glycerine (VG).[2]

PG and VG are basically carriers or form the base of vape fluid. Though they influence the vaping experience, they are not the primary ingredient. PG and VG affect the kind of cloud of vapour any vaping device produces. But one does not vape merely to produce these clouds; most people vape for specific experiences. In the case of CBD vaping, people want to experience its health benefits.

CBD vapes often contain CBD isolate or full-spectrum CBD. CBD isolate is good for beginners due to its purity. However, full-spectrum provides a better vaping experience due to its stronger taste and more potent influences. Full-spectrum CBD contains THC oil in small amounts and other minor cannabinoids, resulting in an “entourage effect” and, thus, many unique health effects.

Though any kind of CBD oil vape pen kit is good for overcoming stress and anxiety, full-spectrum CBD vapes are better for the purpose.

What is a CBD Pen?

A CBD pen is just a kind of vape device. As the name suggests, it is slim and looks quite similar to pens. These are less bulky and more discreet CBD vaping devices. Most CBD pens are for single use, or they are disposable. Of course, some might be refillable. Thus many want to know, Are disposable CBD vaping pens safe?

Generally, people prefer disposable CBD pens, as they are easier to use or maintain. It would be right to say that they do not need any maintenance. All one has to do is open the pack and start enjoying vaping.

Most CBD pens do not look much different and have similar kinds of functions. However, it is worth knowing that CBD pens come in many flavours. After all, CBD pens are not meant for treating health conditions; and they are primarily for recreation.

One more thing that is important to know is that CBD pens do not cause a high or euphoria. Although CBD pens contain cannabis extract, this is mainly hemp extract, and thus, it only contains traces of THC, a substance known to cause high. It means that one can enjoy CBD pens without worrying. Even if you vape extensively, this will not cause a high, and it will only result in a mild relaxing effect characteristic of cannabidiol or CBD.

The Bottom Line

CBD vapes are simple electronic devices containing e-juice that are enriched with CBD or cannabinoids. Thus, it is among the healthier options. Of course, if you do not vape, then you better not start, as any kind of vaping causes some lung inflammation. However, CBD vaping may be good for those who want to quit tobacco smoking. Additionally, this kind of vaping is fine for casual vaping. Additionally, one does not have to worry as CBD, unlike smoking weed, does not cause a high. CBD has many health benefits but without a high or mind-altering property.
