Pure CBD Powder.

Cannabidiol (CBD) is the most popular of cannabinoids. It is also a cannabinoid that has been extensively studied by science. Thus, CBD is regarded as one of the safest of cannabinoids. Moreover, it also has many health benefits.

It is extracted from the hemp plant. Hemp plant extract contains two major cannabinoids: CBD and THC. However, the hemp plant has over 100 other cannabinoids, often called minor cannabinoidsm [1]. Example of some of the minor cannabinoids is CBG, CBC, CBN, CBDA, THCA, THCA, CBDV, CBGV, and many others.

Also, science has identified more than 500 phytochemicals in the plant [1]. Thus, the hemp plant is rich in terpenes, polyphenols, and other beneficial phytocompounds.

Further, it is vital to understand that though all cannabinoids are chemically related, they do not essentially have similar modes of action. In many instances, they have quite different and even opposing actions. Fortunately, nature knows how to blend these hundreds of compounds perfectly, but human knowledge is still limited, and science is learning.

Thus, for example, full-spectrum CBD extract has many of these chemicals, resulting in a potent and unique effect due to a so-called “entourage effect.” However, when there are too many phytocompounds in any extract, it also means less predictable action. That is why some prefer using isolated phytocompounds, like CBD distillates.

Researchers consider isolate CBD as one of the safer options, with a relatively well-understood mode of action and health effects. Hence, it is also one of the beginner-friendly options for those looking to start using CBD.

What are CBD Crystals?

Isolate CBD is a cannabidiol (CBD) in its purest form. Cannabidiol powder is the crystalline form of CBD extracted from the hemp plant. During its extraction, most other component of the plant, such as other cannabinoids, flavonoids, terpenes, and oils, gets removed. This leaves behind a white, powdery substance that is 99% pure CBD.

However, one can notice that it is about 99% pure. It means that it still has other minor cannabinoids and phytochemicals in a very small amount.

Many users prefer pure powder cannabidiol because of its versatility. You can dissolve it under your tongue, infuse it in oils, or even incorporate it into your recipes. The absence of THC, the psychoactive component found in cannabis, ensures you will not experience any ‘high’. So, Cannabidiol powder might be your best bet if you’re seeking pure CBD benefits without any distractions.

One significant advantage of using full-spectrum cannabidiol revolves around its consistency. Since it’s a refined product, you know exactly what you’re getting: nearly pure CBD. This clarity makes dosing straightforward and helps consumers track their intake with precision.

Additionally, for those concerned about drug tests or who have sensitivities to other cannabis compounds, CBD isolate powder provides a safer option. There’s minimal risk of THC ingestion, ensuring peace of mind for users who need to undergo routine drug screenings or simply wish to avoid THC entirely.

So, CBD isolate powder offers a relatively safer and consistent CBD experience. It comes in a white powder form. It may be slightly off-white, too. If it is stored for long enough and if it frequently comes in contact with air, it may turn into creamy yellow. Thus, the whiter the powder, the fresher it is.

Are CBD Crystals Legal in the UK?

In the continually evolving landscape of cannabis products, regulations keep changing. Thus, many UK residents often ask, “Is Cannabidiol powder legal in the UK?”

The answer is straightforward: yes, Cannabidiol isolate is legal in the UK.

The Foods Standards Agency (FSA) regards CBD as a “Novel Food.” That is a food item that has not been consumed in large amounts in the UK traditionally. Hence, CBD use is regulated to ensure its safety [2]. Of course, these regulations are primarily for CBD consumables. Additionally, sales of Cannabidiol crystal products are prohibited for children and adolescents.

The UK government distinguishes between THC, the psychoactive component of cannabis, and CBD, a non-psychoactive compound. Under current UK regulations, CBD products, including Cannabidiol crystal, are legal as long as they contain less than 0.2% THC. Being the purest form of CBD, isolate typically contains no THC, making it a safe choice for those wary of legal constraints.

However, when purchasing Cannabidiol crystal, it is crucial to choose reputable sellers. Always ensure that the product has undergone third-party lab testing, confirming its purity and THC content. This diligence guarantees a seamless, worry-free CBD experience.

There’s minimal risk of THC ingestion, ensuring peace of mind for users who need to undergo routine drug screenings or simply wish to avoid THC entirely.

Sublingual CBD Use

Using CBD sublingually is one of the most common ways. All one has to do is place a few drops of pure CBD oil under the tongue and hold it there for 60-90 seconds. This way, it is absorbed quickly and reliably, producing a good effect.

Preparing CBD oil is pretty easy. CBD is naturally lipid soluble. One can use various oils as a base oil. Some commonly used carrier oils are MCT oil, hemp seed oil, olive oil, Avocado oil, and black seed oil. Always use high-quality organic oils to prepare CBD oil.

CBD Topicals

Consider applying CBD directly to the skin for localised pain or skin issues. Today’s market is rife with CBD-infused creams, balms, and lotions. Rub the product onto the targeted area, and the skin absorbs the CBD, offering relief. Topical application of oils has other benefits like moisturising and antimicrobial properties.

You can also use CBD along with bath salts or even to make CBD bath bombs.

CBD Ingestibles

CBD edibles, capsules, and drinks present a tasty way to consume CBD. While this method takes longer to kick in due to digestion, the effects often last longer. Remember, when starting with edibles or capsules, it is best to start with a lower dose and gradually increase as necessary.

Vaping and Smoking

Inhaling vaporised CBD oil through vapes or e-cigarettes is another method. This way, CBD enters your bloodstream directly through the lungs. It is a quick method but not suitable for everyone, especially those with respiratory issues.

Preparing vape juice may be challenging. Thus, buying vape juices produced by professionals like the vape juices or vape pens sold at CBD Oil King, is better.

Alternatively, you can buy regular vape juice and mix CBD. Later in the article, we will tell you how to do that.

Do Not Exceed CBD Isolate Dosage

Regardless of the method, it is vital to get your dosage right. While CBD is generally well-tolerated, everyone reacts differently. Start with a low dose and monitor how your body responds before increasing the amount.

When it comes to the maximum dosage, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) recommends not to take more than 70 mg of CBD a day [3].

CBD Isolate Purity and Quality

Lastly, always prioritise quality. Ensure your CBD product comes from a reputable source, has undergone third-party lab testing, and meets all quality standards. Remember that high-quality products cost slightly more, as they have undergone extensive testing like Cannabinoids sold at CBD Oil King. Moreover, you can also procure CBD isolate wholesale.

How Much CBD Isolate to use

When you use Cannabinoids powder to make various products, your primary guiding principle must be as per the recommendation set forth by FSA. Therefore, one should add Cannabinoids only in quantities small enough to achieve adequate concentration and not exceed 70 mg daily.

Below is the information about how much Cannabinoids powder to use when making different items:

Tincture or Cannabis Oil for Sublingual Use

For a standard tincture with a concentration of 1000mg of CBD in a 30ml bottle:

  • Use 1 gram (1000mg) of cannabinoid powder.
  • Dissolve the Cannabinoids powder in a carrier oil (e.g., MCT or hemp seed oil) or simply add the CBD oil, then shake well.

Topicals (creams, balms, lotions)

If crafting a 100ml container of cream with a 5% CBD concentration:

  • Add 5g (5000mg) of Cannabidiol powder or the equivalent amount of CBD oil.
  • Mix thoroughly to ensure even distribution.

Edibles (gummies, baked goods, etc.)

For a batch of 10 cookies, each containing 25mg of CBD:

  • Add a total of 250mg of Cannabidiol powder or its CBD oil equivalent.
  • Blend the isolate or oil evenly with other ingredients to ensure consistent CBD dosage in each edible.

Capsules

For capsules, the dosage is direct. If you desire each capsule to have 25mg of CBD, fill each capsule with 25mg of Cannabidiol powder or the equivalent in CBD oil.

Vape Juices

Making a 10ml vape juice with a concentration of 500mg:

  • Mix 500mg of Cannabidiol powder or the corresponding volume of CBD oil with your preferred PG/VG blend and flavourings.

A few important things to keep in mind are:

CBD is lipid or oil soluble naturally; thus, it mixes well in various oil bases. However, water-soluble Cannabidiol powder is becoming increasingly available these days. Only mix the highest quality CBD isolate in water if it is explicitly mentioned on the packing that the isolate is water-soluble.

Additionally, always factor in individual dosage preferences and tolerances. Some might favour a milder dose, while others seek a stronger experience.

How to Mix CBD Isolate into a Vape Juice

People often ask how to mix Cannabidiol powder into vape juice. Of course, one would only mix it with their favourite vape juice that does not contain CBD. Alternatively, you can buy vape juices that already have high-quality CBD. Nonetheless, if you want to add Cannabidiol powder to your favourite vape juice, below are the steps to follow:

  1. Choose Your Materials: Start with high-quality Cannabidiol powder and your favourite vape juice.
  2. Measure the CBD Isolate: Decide on the CBD concentration. For a 1000mg per 30ml mix, use 1 gram of Cannabidiol powder.
  3. Heat & Mix: Warm the vape juice slightly in a warm water bath. Gradually add the Cannabidiol powder, stirring continuously until fully dissolved.
  4. Test & Adjust: Try your mixture. If you prefer stronger effects, you can add more isolate.
  5. Store Safely: Keep your infused vape juice in a cool, dark place to maintain potency.

Benefits of CBD Isolates

Above, we have discussed various ways of using Cannabidiol powder. However, the question may arise: Why use CBD isolate when so many CBD products are readily available? Well, using CBD isolate to prepare your products has some distinct benefits:

  • You may buy CBD wholesale, and this will result in cost savings.
  • You can make products like various edibles that are not readily available in the market, like your favourite cookies, or even use CBD isolate to your fresh juice and salads (but do not exceed the recommended dosage).
  • You achieve better control over how much CBD you take.
  • You can use or consume CBD in different ways, like edibles, topicals, preparing bath bombs, vapes, and much more. Here, only your imagination is the limit.
  • Adding CBD isolates to various edibles may help mask their flavour or odour, as many may not like consuming commercially available CBD products.
  • You know exactly what is in the various CBD products you make using Cannabidiol powder. Such homemade products would be free of artificial flavours, preservatives, and other unwanted chemicals, thus reducing the risk of allergies.
  • Homemade CBD isolate products are relatively safer and less likely to contain impurities. Of course, high-quality CBD products are also safe, as they are tested to be free from impurities.

The Bottom Line

Using Cannabidiol powder empowers consumers, who can make Cannabidiol products according to their liking. It provides so much freedom to enjoy CBD in different ways. However, using cannabidiol powder is perhaps better for more experienced users who understand how to use CBD safely and what is the right dosage for them. Therefore, if you are starting your cannabidiol journey, using commercially produced products like pure CBD oil, gummies, vapes, and so on is better. Once you are comfortable with Cannabidiol and have sufficient knowledge, you can experiment with using Cannabidiol crystal isolate.

Why Should I Choose Your Isolate Over Others?

We have tested isolates CBD from various suppliers and manufacturers. Unfortunately the quality of many is sub par. The third-party lab reports are either forged or have been tampered with. Why Should I Choose Your Isolate Over Others?

We provide in date third-party lab reports that are not doctored in any way. If the lab reports expire before a new batch is in stock, we retest our current batch with Eurofins.

Our isolate is white to just off white. It is not cream or a murky yellow. The yellowness of isolate indicates how long it has been on the shelf. It also indicates that the isolate has been exposed to sunlight.

Every batch of our isolate is more than 99.5% pure CBD. Anyone who claims to have 100% pure CBD powder is not telling the truth. Current state of the art extraction methods cannot reach 100% purity.
