According to a report by the Brightfield Group, the CBD vape pen market is projected to reach an impressive £1.75 billion by 2025, with an annual growth rate of nearly 30%. This substantial growth can be attributed to several key factors:
CBD, also known as Cannabidiol, is a powerful cannabinoid derived from Hemp, a type of Cannabis plant. As an increasingly popular natural remedy, CBD can be found in various products, including CBD oil and CBD vape oil. By embracing top-notch CBD disposable pens, you can explore a wealth of potential health and wellbeing benefits, supported by research and user experiences.
Rapid Calming and Anti-Anxiety Effects: Numerous studies have highlighted CBD’s ability to promote relaxation and alleviate anxiety symptoms. Individuals struggling with anxiety disorders have reported remarkable relief and improved daily functioning when incorporating CBD into their routine, especially through the rapid action of CBD vape pens compared to traditional tinctures or sprays.
Soothing Bump Reduction: The therapeutic properties of CBD extend to providing comfort and easing bodily strains. Whether it’s muscle soreness after a strenuous workout or the stresses of everyday life, vaping CBD offers a soothing and effective means of relief.
A Safer Vaping Alternative: Vaping CBD with high-quality disposable pens offers a safer alternative to smoking, with no harmful tar or combustion by-products. As vaping gains popularity as a modern trend, CBD vape pens allow you to discreetly enjoy the potential health benefits without drawing unnecessary attention.
Experience the wellness revolution with CBD vaping and embrace the potential of premium CBD disposable pens to enhance your overall quality of life.
There are four main factors to consider when figuring out which pens will be best for you:
There are three main types of CBD vape pens:
A disposable vape is a type of vaping device that you discard once finished. These pens are convenient and easy to use, but can be more expensive in the long run. Disposable vapes come with a variety of different types of E liquids, flavours and strengths. Disposable vapes are by far the most popular type of vapes in the market.
Our current best selling disposable vape device is the Darwin The Big One 2000mg disposable vape.
Refillable pens are also known as vape kits. Unlike disposables, they have a tank that can be refilled with your own CBD vape juice. Most vape kits allow you to change the coil inside so you can modify how the pen vaporises the E-liquid. Many mod kits also allow you to vary the wattage or temperature. Both together allow you to tune it to give a bigger throat hit or a smoother hit with larger clouds, or make it more flavoursome. Refillable vape pens do require a bit more maintenance and know-how, but vape CBD can be far more cost-effective over time and provide a tailored vaping experience.
We at CBD Oil King call these types of pens Hybrid Pens. They combine some of the benefits of disposable and modifiable vape kits. These pens typically come in two types. One is cartridge based, which are devices that allow you to dispose of a pre-filled CBD cartridge and replace it with another once you’re done with it. The second type of CBD vape is pod based. This is similar to a CBD disposable vape cartridge, but these are now CBD vape oil pods. In reality there is no functional difference between a pod and a cartridge. However, most cartridges are based on the 510 thread. This means in most instances, you can use your own 510 battery mod regardless of brand and manufacturer. However, with pod-based CBD vape pens, you are limited to using the battery provided by the same manufacturer.
Secondly, you'll want to consider the type of CBD extract or CBD that CBD disposable vape. This has a huge impact on flavours, throat hit and the inhalation and exhalation experience and, of course, the benefit/s you are looking for.
The three types of CBD extracts found in a CBD vape are:
CBD isolate is, as the name suggests. It is pure CBD without any other compounds, cannabinoids, terpenes etc. CBD isolate comes in powder form and can be safely vaped if it is infused into a ratio of Polyethylene Glycol (PG) and Vegetable Glycerine (VG).
Most PG VG based disposable and hybrid pens, cartridges, and pods have a high PG to VG ratio. This gives a great tasting mouth to lung vaping experience, with a decent throat hit and the E liquid contained in the vape lasts a long time.
If you want the ultimate control in vaping and want a smooth experience with big clouds, then you can opt for a kit and purchase a CBD E liquid with a wide choice of PG VG ratios.
This is a vape that is infused with CBD distillate. Distillates contain other cannabinoids and terpenes found in the cannabis/hemp plant. There is no golden rule on the amount of each cannabinoid present, but the key difference between broad spectrum and full spectrum is that there is absolutely no THC in broad spectrum vapes. Full spectrum will contain a maximum legal amount of 1mg in any THC vape juice or THC vape pen, bottle, pod, cartridge or disposable pen.
The key benefit of distillate based pens and E liquids is that you get the benefit of the entourage effect. This is when each cannabinoid amplifies the effect of one another. You also get the added benefits of natural terpenes that are present.
You can get disposable and hybrid pens that are prefilled with pure CBD distillate. These will have no PG and no VG giving the most authentic Cannabis experience. These are great, especially if you are looking for extremely high strengths of CBD in your Vape so you do not have to puff as much. They taste earthy with notes and undertones of flavours of the strains they replicate.
A High PG:VG pen tends to have a bigger throat hit and are designed for a mouth to lung experience. Most disposable pens have this type of E liquid prefilled into them.
Low PG:VG gives a smoother vaping experience, producing those large vape clouds. These are designed for a more direct to lung experience. However, these types of E liquids are only available in bottles, so you must use refillable vape pens or vape kits. They are not typically prefilled into cartridges/pods or disposable vape pens.
All three types of CBD extracts can be found infused into some ratio of PG and VG mixes and as such you will find all types of CBD vape, pods and cartridges that either have these prefilled or can be purchased in a bottle.
CBD Distillate based vapes typically come in disposable or hybrid forms. Very rarely can you find an E liquid bottle that is pure distillate. This is because there are very few vape kits that can vaporise pure distillate.
Any type of CBD extract can be infused into a PG VG base. This is why you will find disposables, pods and E liquids with all of these different types of vapes.
Here we have summarised the key ingredients and extracts and which type of vape pen is available with such ingredients:
|Extract||Type of Base||Type of Pens|
|Broad Spectrum Distillate||
|Full Spectrum Distillate||
The vape e-liquid inside of this CBD vape come in a variety of strengths. The strength is usually measured in milligrams (mg) of CBD per millilitre (ml) of the liquid.
Here at CBD Oil King, we define low strength to be those with a CBD concentration of less than 200mg per ml. Anything between 200mg/ml to 400mg/ml would be considered medium strength, and anything above 400mg/ml we would consider it to be high strength.
The low strength pens mostly have a PG / VG base with CBD isolate or broad spectrum infused. An example of such a pen is Harmony and their Tempo kit (CBD isolate based) and the Orange County CBD+CBG pen (broad spectrum). They come in a range of sizes from as small as 1ml all the way to 8.5ml (in the future may be even more).
Medium strength pens are similar to low strength as they also tend to have PG / VG base. Darwin The Big One has a concentration of approximately 235mg/ml and has CBD isolate as the main ingredient.
High strength pens typically move away from PG / VG bases as it becomes difficult to dissolve high amounts of CBD into a mixture of PG & VG. So these pens typically contain pure CBD e-liquid distillate and no PG / VG. Such as the Orange County Broad Spectrum Distillate disposable vape. This pen filled with CBD e-liquid comes at a whopping 600mg/ml concentration. Probably the strongest on the market. However, at these high strengths, the maximum size you will find is 2ml such as the Aztec CBD kit, which comes in at 2ml.
At CBD Oil King, we understand the significance of providing you with high-quality and safe CBD vape pens. With countless CBD and CBD vape retailers online, it can be challenging to differentiate reliable products from those that may fall short. That's why we've gone the extra mile to meticulously assess each vape pen's safety and quality, ensuring you can vape with confidence.
Our rigorous selection process involves three essential criteria:
Rest assured that all the CBD vape pens we stock have undergone rigorous vetting, and they originate from trusted and reputable brands. Your safety and satisfaction are our top priorities. If you ever have any doubts or questions, don't hesitate to reach out to our knowledgeable team. We are here to ensure your CBD experience is exceptional in every way.
The best way to keep safe is to always follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer. Stepping away from them will very likely lead to injury and or severe side effects.
Some of the potential side effects you need to be aware of include dizziness, diarrhoea, drowsiness and nausea. If you are new to CBD or vape pen in general or you think you may experience any of these, then start with small doses and gradually increase.
Remember consuming CBD by vaping is still vaping. If you do not vape, then you should not take up vaping as a way to take CBD. You are far better off sticking to CBD gummies, CBD capsules, CBD oil, or another ingestible type of CBD. CBD vape may be less harmful than smoking, but it is still harmful.
To get the maximum benefit from your pens, you will want to use it intermittently but throughout the day. This will ensure the amount of CBD, through CBD vape you get is spread out during the day. This keeps the level of CBD in your system up and fairly consistent.
Do not take large puffs, especially the high strength pens. You may feel your throat burn and feel a fair bit of discomfort, when you first try a CBD vape. If this does happen, make sure to sip or drink some water to help soothe the burning sensation. Always stay hydrated regardless of how it feels when you use CBD pens.

Below are the most frequently asked questions by our customers regarding CBD vape pens.
Vaping, in general, is considered safer than smoking. But vaping is not necessarily safe in the long term. Thus we only recommend using a pen with CBD if you are a smoker or vaper.
Vaping CBD is no more dangerous than vaping nicotine. You do need to be careful of the extra ingredients in vape pens. Stay away from Vitamin E Acetate, which has proven to cause EVALI.
We do not stock any vape pens or e-liquids that contain Vitamin E Acetate.
You should always start with a low dose as possible and work your way up until you feel the desired effect.
Remember, the FSA recommends a maximum daily intake of 70mg of CBD for an average-sized adult.
This will depend on the desired effect, strength of CBD and type of extract. In most cases, you can feel an effect after only 1-3 puffs. So, in short, not long at all.
Yes, CBD is a legal compound in the UK and does not violate the Misuse of Drugs Act. CBD vape pens are thus also legal in the UK so long as the products are compliant (CE and/or UKCA marked).
No. CBD does not have psychedelic effects like THC does. So no matter how much CBD you vape, you will not get a high.
Some vapes are made with full spectrum extracts. These will contain trace amounts of THC but are legal in the UK. So long as they contain less than 1mg of THC. These trace amounts are nowhere near enough to get you a high.
A lot of our customers email in and ask if vaping Cannabidiol (CBD) will help with their anxiety. The type of CBD vape pen you can buy from us is not considered medicine. They are not designed to diagnose, treat or cure anxiety disorder or any health or medical conditions. Therefore we are unable to make any health benefits or medical claims about an anxiety pen.
You can learn about other customers' experiences. Have a read of their reviews of the products we stock.
The liquid inside vape pens crystallises due to the high content of CBD. Crystallisation does not have adverse effects on your vaping device. But you do need to fix it to consume the CBD.
The quickest way to de-crystallise your refillable CBD vape is to place the tank into a grip seal bag and place it in warm or hot water. This will help melt the crystals and mix in with the liquid again.
CBD does not show up on a typical drug test. These tests detect delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC). This is marijuana's main active ingredient that gives you the high. Be aware that CBD products made with full spectrum extract contain trace amounts of THC. In rare cases, if enough THC is present, then it can show up on a drug test, although unlikely.
There are drug tests designed to detect CBD. You may come across these if you are travelling to a country where CBD is illegal. Or if your work place has a policy and test for detecting CBD.
Yes and no. The answer depends on the type of pen you have or are asking about:
CBD can stay in your system anywhere upto 2-5 days but this does not apply to everyone. For some, it could last up to a few weeks.
It also depends on how much CBD you consume and how much CBD your body decides to uptake into the bloodstream.
The effect of CBD may last for a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the strength and uptake method. But this effect does not necessarily correlate with how long CBD remains in your system.
Yes. As does vaping nicotine. Vaping is not safe in the long run, but is a healthier alternative to smoking. The liquid inside of vapes and CBD vapes contain chemicals which can cause harm in the long run.
A study suggests that vaping increases the chances of lung injury or lung disease by upto 30%. So if you do not vape, we do not recommend vaping to take CBD. Try CBD gummies UK or CBD oil instead.
No. CBD vaping is not addictive as CBD is not an addictive compound. It will not make you addicted to CBD or vaping.
Some vapers decide to mix nicotine with their CBD vape liquids. In this case, it would be addictive, but the compound responsible is nicotine.
CBD does have a few known side effects. Nausea is one of them. If you do not tolerate CBD well or if you consume too much CBD, chances are you will feel nauseous.
This will depend on how much you vape. Assuming you have the correct coil, then the coil should last a very long time. The lower the temperature, the better. However, if you are using a metal coil for MTL vaping CBD, then your coil will likely burn out very quickly.
