I remember switching to CBD vaping a few years back. Though I have smoked for several years, I was looking for something less harmful to help me quit smoking. However, as a beginner in vaping, everything about it was a bit intimidating for me.
These problems in selecting vape pens and cartridges may be due to multiple reasons. Firstly, we need to understand CBD vape strengths. Secondly, as a middle-aged adult, I am not tech-savvy. So, it took me some time to understand the basics of CBD vape cartridges and pens. Fortunately, there is nothing complex about it.Â
Well, theoretically, yes. But in practice, no. What does it mean? Of course, cartridges may come in different shapes and sizes, and thus, naturally, not all CBD cartridges fit all vape pens.
However, in practice, things differ. There are certain industry standards that are widely followed. Of course, all do not follow these standards, but most do.
Most CBD vape pens use 510-thread batteries, meaning cartridges are also made accordingly to fit in all those CBD vape pens. Hence, it is pretty likely that if you buy a CBD vape cartridge, it would fit on any vape pen, especially if it uses 510-thread batteries. However, there are no guarantees. Some cartridges may have non-standard shapes. Additionally, if your vape pen does not use 510-thread batteries, then there is a need to be careful as your vape pen may need a specific kind of cartridge.Â
Unfortunately, no, but it does sometimes. A prime example of this is the Harmony vape cartridge. It has a 510 threaded attachment, but it does not work in a CBDfx vape kit, even though it fits. However, the Harmony vape cartridge fits and works on an Aztec vape kit battery, but it does not vape as well as it does on its intended Harmony battery.
The CBDfx Vape cartridge does not work on either Aztec or Harmony batteries, and we have not found another battery that it does work on.
Even though cartridges may fit perfectly, other factors may prevent them from working at all or well.Â
