CBD e-liquid is consumed through electronic vaping devices like CBD vape pens. A CBD vape pen can be reusable or disposable. They come in a variety of strengths and flavours. THC vape juice found in a THC vape pen will produce intoxicating effects or a high because THC is psychedelic. CBD will not produce a buzz or high because it is not a psychedelic.
Cannabidiol aka CBD can be found in a plethora of different products. CBD edibles, CBD beverages, CBD topicals, CBD pharma, and one of the most popular, CBD vape products, are available in most places around the world. Cannabis is illegal in a lot of places in the form of medical or recreational cannabis. Another type of cannabis, industrial hemp though, which contains very little to no THC, is legal in most places.
Much of the CBD products you see sold globally are derived from industrial hemp that contains 0.2% THC or less. Many countries have strict laws regulating cannabis products such as CBD. To ensure the safety of consumers, suppliers have strict compliance guidelines to meet and maintain. Products like CBD e-liquid, CBD vape pens, and others should all come with certified lab test results. By only purchasing quality CBD from reputable retailers, you know that you're getting what you paid for.
Three Different Types of CBD E-liquid
There are different types of CBD vape products. CBD e-liquid comes in three basic varieties.
There are CBD products made from CBD isolate which is 99% pure CBD. It has no added flavour. This is a great option for someone who wants to avoid cannabinoids like CBN, CBG, or THC altogether.
Broad-spectrum CBD is made utilising all parts of the hemp plant except THC. Broad-spectrum contains all-natural terpenes. Terpenes like beta-caryophyllene, a-pinene, d-limonene, and others. It has cannabinoids from hemp like CBN, CBG, CBD, CBC, and more.
It's made utilising all components of industrial hemp including trace amounts of THC. THC is permitted in CBD products as long as it doesn't exceed more than one mg of THC per closed container.
Now that we've covered the three types of e-liquid, let's take a look at some of the other features offered when you purchase CBD e-liquid.
There Are Several Different Strengths of CBD E-liquid
CBD e-liquid is available in a multitude of different strengths. You can purchase a CBD e-liquid with 100 mg of CBD or 1,000 mg of CBD. There's a difference in how these different e-liquids should be consumed. It's suggested that regular daily consumption CBD is limited to 100mg CBD per ml. For people who only vape CBD on occasion or once a day, a higher milligram of CBD (300 mg or more) could prove to be more beneficial. When purchasing a CBD e-liquid it's important to understand what you're getting.
Milligrams are usually referred to as mg. You will find it somewhere on the package's label. It should read 100 mg, 300 mg, 1000 mg, or more. The next thing to look for is the size of the bottle. Is it a 1ml bottle, a 10ml bottle, or a 100ml bottle? 2000 mg of CBD in a 10ml bottle would be 200mg of CBD per ml. Change that bottle size to 100ml and 2000mg of CBD becomes 20mg of CBD per ml. Having a good understanding of the strength of CBD you're consuming is important to get the most out of your CBD vaping experience.
Different Flavours of CBD E-liquid
CBD e-liquid is also available in many different flavours. When flavouring is added to CBD e-liquid it is often called CBD vape juice. CBD vape juice offers up tongue tantalising palate-pleasing flavours like cherry, banana, orange, mint, and more which can be found in a variety of different strengths. There are also varieties of CBD e-liquid that have a flavour profile similar to legendary cannabis strains like OG Kush, Maui Wowie, Pineapple Express, and others. You can choose to go flavourless or you can taste the rainbow with all kinds of flavourful CBD e-liquids.
Suggestions for Consuming CBD E-liquid
CBD can be beneficial, but it could also be problematic. This could occur if too much CBD is consumed. There are reports that taking too much CBD has led to headaches, constipation, diahorrhea, restlessness, insomnia, headaches, and more. The Food Standards Agency recommends healthy adults shouldn't consume more than 70 mg of CBD in a 24-hour period unless otherwise recommended by a physician. This means that a 100mg 1ml CBD vape pen should last you at least a day and a half. If you're consuming more than that, make sure to monitor how you feel closely so that you'll know what effect CBD has on you.
